This will be the fifth Passover that Gilad Shalit will spend in captivity.
And as reported by Israel National News on Sunday, President Shimon Peres will visit the Shalit family’s protest tent outside the Knesset on Monday. Peres will greet Noam and Aviva Shalit, parents of kidnapped IDF soldier Gilad Shalit, with holiday wishes, in the hope that their son is released from captivity in the near future.
Hundreds of people are expected to join the Shalits Monday night for a “protest seder,” demanding that the government do more to free Shalit.(*)
